Brass Knuckles Ink Tattoo was built on a simple belief: great tattooing should be intentional, professional, and rooted in trust—not hype, shortcuts, or trends. Ed (aka Taino) and Martha, both New York City natives, a couple of visionaries who made a life-changing decision right here in the heartbeat of the Bronx.
Located in the Bronx just steps from Yankee Stadium, Brass Knuckles Ink is a custom tattoo studio specializing in custom, large-scale, meaningful work—from black-and-grey to portrait realism for full sleeves, backpieces and other notable areas that deeply creates extraordinary, personal pieces that tell real stories. We are known for delivering NYC-level artistry without inflated pricing, while holding ourselves to uncompromising standards of cleanliness, consultation, and craft.

Ed, “aka taino”
Growing up in Spanish Harlem, Ed a Veteran Tattoo Artist of over 30 years. He has seen firsthand how the industry evolved over the years. Chances are, he has seen it and done it all. Specializing in Black & Grey and Portrait Realism, his work is undeniably wicked as well as angelic. His art stands out and is considered to be "in action" or "in the moment", creating a visual sound and attitude. Facial expressions are as vivid and powerful as scenes from a movie, creating a shock value. Custom and imaginative themed work is the name of his game. His style and skills has no limit. He simply does it. Just get ready to get creative.

When it comes to making that great first impression, Martha is no stranger. With an impressive background in Interior Design & Hospitality, she recognizes what it takes to captivate a delightful environment. Martha was born and raised in New York City in the Bronx. Throughout her career, her projects invoked no less than a “Wow” factor. Because of her attention to detail and unmatched customer service, it’s no wonder that customers from Brass Knuckles Ink truly appreciate her. And now, as an artist herself, her goals are simple. Providing confidence to real women by enhancing their natural beauty through the art of cosmetic tattooing.
